Slaughter The Bull for Your Hometown

After Pablo Picasso’s The Bull, 1945

Broke things up with psychosis and wonders now
Why I’m a magical realist.
There’s something absurd about it
Like the woman with an eye
For a mouth.
Bite down.
Burst a vision.
A blistering perspective.
Once the infection’s gone.
There’s not much use
In trying to cure it.
Slaughter the lamb
And get out of it.
